William Kamkwamba Documentary Wraps U.S. Production

September 2010 marked the end of a three location US-based shooting trip for the feature length production of our documentary about William Kamkwamba, and the official end of principle photography as we know it. Ben Nabors traveled with William Kamkwamba to the University of Florida, where William spoke to an audience of over 8,000 at the school’s New Student Convocation (The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer was selected as new student required reading). Shortly thereafter, the production team traveled with William to Washington DC, then on to Dartmouth College. William begins his freshman year at Dartmouth this fall.

We’re pleased to announce that our film now moves forward in to post-production on the documentary.
